The World cup is finally here, and with so much excitement in the air, it would be a good practice to enjoy the moments while still staying safe and sound. It has been known that during this period there are lots of injuries that could have been prevented. So here are simple safety precautions to keep you safe during the world cup tournament, wherever you are watching:

The most anticipated event of the year is here , and there’s lots of excitement in the air. Why? Because the most popular sporting event in the world kicks off on 12 June 2014 – the 2014 Soccer World Cup Tournament . It features the worlds greatest teams, like the hosting Samba Boys of Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Spain, our very own Super Eagles and more.

I am, of course, referring to the Fifa World Cup in Brazil which kicks off in a week’s time. Host nation Brazil is surely a favourite in the tournament, but can the Samba Kings see off the threat of other top-footballing nations like Germany, Argentina and the Netherlands? Only time will tell.
